What is the difference between natural and synthetic raw materials in cosmetics?

Natural raw materials are derived from plants or fruits (such as plant extracts, essential oils...), animal derivatives (milk, cream, fat, honey...), or mineral resources from nature (salts, oxides...). For the production of natural products, naturally sourced active substances and preservatives will of course be used. In the context of producing organic cosmetics, raw materials from organic farming must be used. Synthetic raw materials, on the other hand, come from substances obtained through chemical synthesis.
