Glycerol or glycerin is a colorless, viscous, odorless liquid with a sweet taste and low toxicity, used in many formulations including pharmaceutical and cosmetic ones. Glycerin (CAS 56-81-5) or glycerol, 1,2,3-propanetriol, is a raw material of vegetable origin. It is obtained through the process of vegetable saponification (during soap manufacturing) or transesterification of vegetable oils (during biodiesel production). It is a biodegradable raw material, soluble in water and alcohol, but insoluble in oil.
We offer vegetable glycerin for sale to professionals, in several packaging formats: in 6 kg and 24 kg canisters, in a 240 kg drum, and in a 1200 kg IBC.

Individuals use vegetable glycerin as an ingredient for the manufacture of:
- natural homemade cosmetics (body cream, makeup remover, hair mask, shower gel, lip balm)
USAGE TIPS
Glycerol, when ingested in large quantities (from 50 grams per day), can have laxative and diuretic properties.
When making homemade cosmetics, it is important to strictly follow the proportions of vegetable glycerin indicated in the recipe. The product must never exceed 10%. In case of overdosage, the opposite effect occurs: glycerin loses its moisturizing power and can dry out the skin. A dosage between 2 and 5% is recommended.
Making a body balm: heat in a double boiler 70 grams of vegetable oil, with 15 grams of shea butter, and 10 grams of beeswax. Mix 5 grams of glycerin with the essential oils of your choice. Add the glycerin to the oil mixture. Pour into a container and leave to cool.
