Peelable Varnish

A peelable varnish, or peelable paint, is a temporary anti-corrosion protection. It protects parts against mechanical damage (abrasion, scratches, filters ultraviolet rays), chemical damage, water, and the effects of oxidation. It is used in the railway, naval, aeronautical, and mechanical industries to protect glass, metal, and certain plastics. This product is applied in a single coat on horizontal surfaces. All our varnishes are easily peelable by hand, formulated on a water-based formula, with no VOC emissions. Depending on the nature of your substrate, we have a solution tailored to your needs.

Although these protections are described as short or medium term, feedback from experience shows that peelable varnishes maintain their properties for several years. Thus, after more than 10 years outdoors on a mirror-polished surface, theARCAPELE PROTECTO has consistently proven to be peelable with no corrosion recurrence under the film. Salt spray tests have shown excellent resistance.
