Why use a degreaser before painting?

It is essential to carry out degreasing before painting to ensure easy application, a good finish, and optimal durability. This step is all the more important with water-based paints, which are far more sensitive to greasy soils than solvent-based paints. Degreasing allows for optimal contact between the substrate and the paint (good spreading/wetting/adhesion).
