Spray degreasing machines are simple machines fitted with either a rotating plate, a basket, or one or more spray bars. Their tank is filled with water and a cleaning product. Their simple mechanics make them reliable and easy-to-maintain cleaning machines. They are used for washing mechanical parts, for example.

To optimize their efficiency, Arcane Industries designs and manufactures a complete range of products and additives dedicated to this type of equipment: solid and liquid detergents, anti-foaming or anti-corrosion additives, demineralized water.

Frequently asked questions about detergent products for degreasing

Which detergent should I choose for my spray machine?

The choice of detergent for your spray machine will depend on two criteria: the nature of the parts to be cleaned (metal, plastic, glass, etc.) and the nature of the soiling to be removed. Based on this, we can offer you the products suited to your needs from our wide range of detergents. Our detergents are low-foaming and easy to rinse.

Do detergent products cause metals to rust?

Depending on the nature of the metals, alkaline or acid detergents can indeed corrode metals. To counter this phenomenon, Arcane has developed a complete range of additives to protect parts during washing cycles. These treatments are to be added directly into the tank, in the water, following the correct dosage. Find them on this page.

Can a detergent product be used for stripping?

It is indeed possible to strip paint or coatings using detergent products. However, it is necessary to properly identify which detergent product will be most effective for the maintenance of a given coating. Depending on your use, we recommend the caustic soda, the potash lye, or the concentrated detergent. If you have any doubts about the choice of product, its dosage, or its rinsing, contact our technical team.

When should the detergent solution be changed?

The lifespan of the product depends on how it is used. If you are cleaning heavily soiled parts, you will need to renew the detergent solution more frequently. You can perform a bath quality check to optimize its efficiency. Measure the pH or conductivity to assess the activity level of the detergent.
