EN 896 caustic soda solution diluted to 30% is an aqueous solution of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) meeting the quality requirements of the AFNOR NF EN 896 standard.
This product is intended for drinking water treatment. It is a base used to increase pH.
Sodium hydroxide solution at 30% EN 896 is available in 27 kg containers, 1330 kg IBCs, or 266 kg drums. Sales are exclusively reserved for professionals.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
30% EN 896 caustic soda solution is used exclusively for water treatment, for example in drinking water networks, wastewater treatment, and industrial water treatment. It is used to basify water (pH correction). To acidify it, use sulfuric acid 98% EN 899.

USAGE GUIDELINES
This grade complies with standard NF EN 896 type 1, with the exception of the "SODA ASH" parameter.
30% caustic soda solution is corrosive. Wear personal protective equipment when handling caustic soda solution: safety goggles, mask, gloves, and appropriate clothing.
An exothermic reaction occurs when mixing the product with water.
