30% diluted caustic soda lye EN 896 is an aqueous solution of caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) meeting the quality requirements of AFNOR standard NF EN 896.
This product is intended for drinking water treatment. It is a base used to increase pH.

MAIN FUNCTIONS
30% caustic soda lye EN 896 is exclusively used for water treatment, for example for drinking water networks, wastewater treatment and industrial water. It is used to basify water (water pH correction). To acidify it, use sulfuric acid 98% EN 899.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
This grade complies with standard NF EN 896 type 1 except for the "SODIUM CARBONATE" parameter.
30% caustic soda lye is corrosive. Wear personal protective equipment when using caustic soda lye: safety goggles, mask, gloves and appropriate clothing.
An exothermic reaction occurs when mixing the product with water.
