Why choose a metal degreaser specific to the substrate?

Each metal has a different composition, more or less resistant to oxidation and chemical products. Treating a metal surface with an unsuitable degreaser risks causing chemical stripping and deterioration of the surface. Moreover, for ferrous metals, a water-based degreaser may cause corrosion to appear. In this particular case, it is essential to use a anti-corrosion additive added to your metal degreaser. Choosing the right product therefore ensures both cleaning and protection of the surface. How do I choose a metal degreaser?
