Description

Degreaser 111BS is a formulation based on powerful solvents, designed to effectively remove greases, oils, and contaminants before critical operations such as brazing or welding. Thanks to its optimized evaporation rate, it leaves a clean, dry surface ready for processing without delay. Particularly recommended as a finish cleaner or between operations in demanding manufacturing processes, it is also biodegradable while delivering excellent cleaning performance. Flammable product (flash point>30°C) — handle with care.

APPLICATION

Degreaser 111BS is ready to use and applied by manual cleaning:

Application: by cloth, brush, or manual spraying
Dosage: pure, undiluted
Action time: instantaneous cleaning, followed by rapid evaporation
Rinsing: not required – no residue to rinse off
Notes: do not use near ignition sources

In welded assemblies, weld quality is directly correlated with the quality of surface preparation of the areas to be welded. Indeed, despite the use of strong acid to prepare the braze, it is highly recommended to thoroughly degrease the parts to ensure that the acid attack is uniform and, consequently, that weld quality is optimized. It is in this context that Arcane Industries developed "Degreaser 111BS" for a major international industrial client — the product must ensure weld integrity for over 30 years. However, this degreasing step was not part of the original manufacturing process, so it was necessary to find an effective, fast solution meeting QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) and CHSCT (Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee) requirements, while maintaining optimal productivity.
