Description

Degreaser 111BS is a powerful solvent-based formulation designed to effectively remove greases, oils and soiling before critical operations such as brazing or welding. Thanks to its optimized evaporation rate, it leaves a clean, dry surface ready for immediate processing. Particularly recommended for finish cleaning or inter-operation steps in demanding manufacturing processes, it is also biodegradable while delivering excellent cleaning performance. Flammable product (flash point>30°C), handle with care.

APPLICATION

Degreaser 111BS is ready to use and applied by manual cleaning:

Application: by cloth, brush or manual spray
Dosage: undiluted, without dilution
Contact time: instant cleaning, followed by rapid evaporation
Rinsing: not required – no residue to rinse
Notes: do not use near ignition sources

In mechanically welded assemblies, weld quality is directly correlated with the quality of surface preparation in the areas to be welded. Indeed, despite the use of strong acids to prepare the braze, it is strongly recommended to thoroughly degrease the parts to ensure uniform acid attack and consequently optimize weld quality. It is within this context that Arcane Industries developed the "Degreaser 111BS" for a major international industrial client, where the weld must maintain integrity for over 30 years. However, this degreasing step was not included in the original manufacturing process, making it necessary to find an effective, fast solution meeting QSE (Quality, Safety, Environment) and CHSCT (Health, Safety and Working Conditions Committee) requirements while maintaining optimal productivity. The "Degreaser 110 Brazing and Welding" meets all these customer requirements.
