Description
ARCASONIC ACLEAN PASSIV is a concentrated detergent solution designed for safe passivation of stainless steels after machining or forming. Based on citric acid and non-foaming surfactants, it effectively removes free iron and surface oxides without resorting to strong acids such as nitric acid. Compatible with immersion or ultrasonic processes up to 80°C, it enables gentle deoxidation, compliant with ASTM A967 standards (types 1 to 5). It can also be used on copper alloys for thorough cleaning. For optimum performance, prior degreasing with ARCASONIC BCLEAN is recommended.

APPLICATION
Use in ultrasonic bath or by immersion. For maximum effectiveness:
- Recommended dilution: between 5% and 20% depending on requirements
- Bath temperature: up to 80°C
- Treatment duration: to be adjusted according to the level of oxidation
- Pre-decontamination recommended with ARCASONIC BCLEAN (alkaline degreasing)
- Rinse with clean water after passivation
- If the objective is solely rust stain removal, prefer ARCASONIC ACLEAN
