10° vinegar weed killer for agriculture

Product Summary

10° white vinegar is a natural vinegar derived from natural fermentation¹, of food-grade quality. White vinegar is composed of acetic acid and water. It is also known as crystal vinegar and alcohol vinegar. It is ready to use as an agricultural weed killer. Its concentration allows it to be used in gardens for horticulture or in agriculture. It can replace the use of toxic phytosanitary products with a naturally derived product with a lower environmental impact. White vinegar is a contact herbicide: it burns the leaves without penetrating the roots of plants.

It is available in 20-liter jerry cans, 200-liter drums and 1000-liter IBCs.

Like sodium hydrogen carbonate, vinegar is considered a basic substance ² for fungicidal and bactericidal treatments in organic farming.

MAIN FUNCTIONS

Natural and biodegradable, it is used in agriculture as a herbicide, fungicide and bactericide ³. However, it is not authorized as a weed killer in organic farming. It can be used in ECOCERT or ECOLABEL formulations. Vinegar is authorized for cleaning materials that may come into contact with foodstuffs (in accordance with the order of 08/09/1999 as amended by the order of 19/12/2013).

PROFESSIONAL USE

In horticulture, white vinegar is used as a weed killer, herbicide, fungicide and bactericide. In organic farming, it can only be used as a fungicide and bactericide. It is also suitable for cleaning gardening equipment, and is authorized for cleaning materials that may come into contact with foodstuffs.

White vinegar is used as a natural cleaning product for surface cleaning. It is a powerful descaler and recognized bactericide.
