pH (hydrogen potential) measures the alkalinity or acidity of pool or spa water. When the pH equals 7, the water has a neutral pH. It is generally recommended for pools to have a slightly basic pH, around 7.4. An unbalanced pH harms water quality, promotes algae development, changes water color and can affect swimming comfort. It also contributes to excessive disinfectant consumption, such as chlorine. pH changes depending on air temperature, weather conditions, the environment around the pool, and usage frequency. It must be checked regularly.
To check water pH, professionals use an electronic pH meter. It is also possible to acquire a pump that automatically manages treatment dosing.
We offer this product in 26 kg containers, intended for professionals working with municipal, hotel, residential or camping pools, spas, jacuzzis...
