Description

ARCAMECA L828 is a powerful multipurpose alkaline detergent, ideal for cleaning a variety of surfaces such as metal, glass, ceramic, plastic and rubber. Designed for effective cleaning of carburetors and injector parts, this product is also perfect for regular maintenance and upkeep of various equipment (such as plates, protective masks and toner cartridges for photocopiers and printers), as well as for strip curtains.

ARCAMECA L828 is formulated to effectively eliminate lubricant coolant residues, sanding and polishing residues, oils and greases, as well as combustion residues, soot and dust. It acts as an effective demulsifying agent for most mineral oils and greases, while requiring prior verification of compatibility with AlSiMg light metal alloys.

Application and Dosage

  • For ultrasonic cleaning: Use a concentration of 2 to 5% in water, at a temperature of 50–80 °C, for a duration of 3 to 5 minutes.
  • For immersion cleaning: Allow a dosage of approximately 5 to 10% in water.
  • Make sure to rinse the parts thoroughly with water after treatment and dry them.
  • For temporary corrosion protection, use AC PROTECT 102 at 0.1% for rust-sensitive parts. AC PROTECT 102 can also be added to the rinsing solution.

Disposal of Used Solution The surfactants contained in ARCAMECA L828 are biodegradable, in accordance with Annex III of Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents. The used cleaning solution, once neutralized according to local pH standards, can be discharged into the drainage system, subject to local regulations. Use vinegar or citric acid for neutralization in the ultrasonic bath, but avoid hydrochloric or sulfuric acids due to the risk of corrosion.
