Sulfuric acid 36-38%
Sulfuric acid, formerly known as vitriol, is a chemical product with the formula H₂SO₄. This mineral acid is miscible with water in all proportions. It appears as a viscous, colorless and odorless liquid. It originates from the hydration of sulfur trioxide, which itself comes from the natural oxidation of sulfur dioxide. It is used in many industries. We offer it in two dilutions: one at a concentration of 36-38% and the other highly concentrated: a 98% sulfuric acid.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
Sulfuric acid is used primarily for descaling, pH regulation, pickling and stripping, rust removal from metal parts, and as a battery electrolyte.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Hazardous substance, follow safety guidelines.
When using hydrochloric acid in solution on ferrous metals and steels, we recommend using the anti-corrosion additive AC PROTECT 106 to limit attack on sound metal. See our full range of anti-rust products.
The purchase, possession or use of these products by the general public is subject to restrictions. We are required to keep a sales register with a declaration of use.
From 1 February 2021, the new Regulation (EU) 2019/1148 concerning possible explosive precursors, which restricts the sale of sulfuric acid to the general public, entered into force and applies across the entire European territory.
