THERMOLIQUID MEG is a heat transfer and cooling fluid based on monoethylene glycol and corrosion inhibitor.
It protects installations against freezing, corrosion, and foam development. The boiling point of the water/antifreeze mixture increases with the concentration of MEG. The specific heat and thermal conductivity decrease with the same concentration.
In addition to its intrinsic qualities for conducting heat or cold, THERMOLIQUID MEG limits the formation of air bubbles in circuits and offers unique compatibility with materials frequently used in water circuits (steel, aluminum, brass, copper).
We offer it in various packaging formats: 20-liter jerry can, 200-liter drum, and 1000-liter IBC. Ready to use, choose the concentration that suits you, for a freezing point of -15°C, -24°C, or -33°C.
MAIN FUNCTIONS
THERMOLIQUID MEG is a heat transfer fluid. It transports cold or heat from one point to another. It also has antifreeze properties.
INDUSTRIAL USE
- Plastics industry: manufacture of certain plastics (PET: polyethylene terephthalate)
- Production of solvents and resins.
- Industrial refrigeration industry
- Component of industrial engines
- Component of external air conditioning units
USAGE TIPS
Monoethylene glycol presents a significant danger if ingested. Prefer the use of THERMOLIQUID MPG, a product with similar properties but classified as non-hazardous.
In order to limit the impact on human health, a bittering agent is present in our MEG-based ANTIFREEZEs to prevent any risk of ingestion in accordance with Decree No. 95-326 of March 20, 1995 relating to safety obligations concerning the distribution of certain liquids based on monoethylene glycol
