Tripropylene glycol monomethyl ether, or TPM, is a colorless organic solvent with low odor, offering good solvation power for both polar and non-polar components. TPM is a water-miscible, slow-evaporating solvent. It can be a good substitute for solvents in the ethylene glycol series. Its low vapor pressure means it is considered non-VOC depending on the application. Its chemical formula is (C10H22O4).

INDUSTRIAL USE
- Antifreeze product industry
- Coatings, paints, inks, and adhesives manufacturing industry
- Agri-food industry: manufacture of crop protection products for agriculture
- Electronics and textile cleaning and detergent industry
- Cosmetic industry: cosmetic raw material, used in the composition of certain deodorants for its antioxidant, humectant, and emulsion-stabilizing properties
- 3D printing industry: used for cleaning plastic parts; thanks to its flash point (124°C), it can substitute certain alcohols in ultrasonic baths.
