A steam extractor for a rotary washer removes steam produced inside the machine during the wash cycle. It helps limit steam buildup in the tank and the release of steam when the washer is opened.
The model offered is compatible with the following models:
- ROTARY WASHER 730
- ROTARY WASHER 870
- ROTARY WASHER 1130
- ROTARY WASHER 1460
- ROTARY WASHER 1800
How it works
When a rotary washer is operating, the temperature of the wash bath and the spraying of the cleaning solution generate steam inside the machine.
The extractor creates airflow that carries this steam away from the washing area.
During operation:
- Steam generated during washing accumulates inside the machine.
- The extractor draws in steam-laden air.
- The steam is directed into the designated exhaust system.
- The amount of steam inside the washer decreases.
- At the end of the cycle, opening the machine therefore releases less steam into the work area.
Simplified diagram
Rotary washer → steam generated during washing → suction → extractor → exhaust
The steam extractor is particularly useful as an accessory when wash cycles run at high temperatures. It helps control steam released around the machine and improves the operating conditions of the rotary washer.
Its effectiveness depends in particular on the operating temperature, the amount of steam produced, the extraction airflow rate, and the configuration of the exhaust system.
