Quaternary Ammonium - ADBAC 50 - CAS No. 68424-85-1

Quaternary Ammonium ADBAC 50 is a mixture of quaternary ammonium salts commonly known as benzalkonium chloride (BAC). More precisely, it is a mixture of n-alkyl dimethylbenzylammonium chlorides (ADBAC) differing in carbon chain length (C_nH_2n+1).
Its amphiphilic nature gives it surfactant properties and it is listed as a cationic surface agent for the formulation of detergents. It also has biocidal properties.
