Turpentine Oil is an essential oil produced by distillation (maximum 180°C) and purification of turpentine (resin obtained from maritime pines and other resinous trees). The main component is alpha-pinene with a minimum content of 60% and whose boiling point is approximately 154°C. There may also be by-products such as beta-pinene or camphene depending on the origin of the resin.
