An external pump system for filling and draining rotary washers makes it easier to fill and drain the machine’s tank.
This pump transfers the cleaning liquid between the rotary washer and an external container, simplifying machine startup, cleaning bath replacement, and draining.
The system is compatible with the following models:
- ROTARY WASHER 730
- ROTARY WASHER 870
- ROTARY WASHER 1130
- ROTARY WASHER 1460
- ROTARY WASHER 1800
How it works
The external pump is connected to the rotary washer and transfers liquid in either direction, depending on the operation.
To fill the tank, the pump draws liquid from an external container and transfers it to the washer.
For draining, the process is reversed: the liquid in the tank is drawn out and transferred to a suitable container or collection system.
During use:
- The pump is connected to the rotary washer and the container used for the transfer.
- For filling, the liquid is drawn from the external container.
- The pump transfers the liquid into the washer tank.
- For draining, the liquid is drawn directly from the tank.
- It is then transferred to an external container for collection, treatment, or disposal.
Simplified diagram
Filling: external container → external pump → washer tank
Draining: washer tank → external pump → collection container
This system primarily simplifies and speeds up filling and draining the rotary washer. It reduces manual handling of the liquid and makes maintenance and cleaning bath replacement easier.
System performance depends in part on the pump’s flow rate, transfer height, connection length, and the characteristics of the liquid being transferred.
