Butyl acetate, N-butyl or ethyl butanoate is a solvent from the ester family with the formula C6H12O2. It is a colorless liquid with a characteristic banana odor.
A good solvent, butyl acetate is used as a film-forming agent for paints, lacquers, and coatings. It is also found as a food additive.
We offer this product for sale to professionals, in various packaging formats: 20-liter jerry can, 200-liter drum, 1000-liter IBC.

- Paint industry: solvent for coatings formulated on various bases: cellulose acetate, nitrocellulose, polyesters, epoxy resins, alkyd resins, vinyl copolymers, and acrylic resins.
- Degreaser and cleaner industry
- Artificial leather industry
- Photographic industry: film manufacturing

- Pharmaceutical industry: extraction agent
- Cosmetics industry: solvent used in the composition of nail varnishes. Also used as a masking agent to reduce the base odor of the product. Included in the composition of certain perfumes and eau de toilette.
- Tobacco industry: additive
- Food industry: used in the production of confectionery, ice cream, and cheeses
USAGE TIPS
Dilute to a maximum of 0.8% in fragrances.
Consult the safety data sheet and use appropriate personal protective equipment. Rinse immediately with water in case of skin contact.
