An automatic pneumatic opening system for a rotary washer uses compressed air to automate the opening of the machine’s lid or door.
This mechanism reduces the manual handling needed to access the wash area, particularly when parts are repeatedly loaded and unloaded.
The system is compatible with the following models:
- ROTARY WASHER 730
- ROTARY WASHER 870
- ROTARY WASHER 1130
- ROTARY WASHER 1460
- ROTARY WASHER 1800
How it works
The system uses a compressed-air-powered pneumatic mechanism to assist and automate the opening of the rotary washer.
At the end of the cycle, once the conditions for opening the machine have been met, the pneumatic mechanism opens the lid or door to provide access to the parts.
During operation:
- The wash cycle ends.
- The system permits the machine to open.
- Compressed air powers the pneumatic mechanism.
- The mechanism automatically opens the lid or door.
- The operator can then access the wash area to remove the parts.
- After a new batch is loaded, the machine can be closed to start another cycle.

This system primarily makes the rotary washer easier to open and reduces the amount of manual handling required of the operator. It makes the machine more comfortable to use, particularly when many wash cycles are run in succession.

Operation requires a compressed air supply suited to the specifications of the pneumatic system.
