ARCANE Industries was, at its founding more than 20 years ago, a development laboratory for substitute products replacing the chlorinated solvents that were ubiquitous in industry in the 1990s. Patents were filed to protect original formulations: notably around water-dilutable eco-responsible solvents and around emulsions and micro-emulsions of natural products. Agreements with industrial companies and distributors enabled rapid development of the production activity. Nevertheless, the company's DNA remains research and development. Numerous R&D projects have led to new developments with major industrial groups in safe and responsible solvents and in temporary protective coatings in aqueous phase in particular. The two laboratories (surface preparation and coating) work daily both on medium- and long-term development projects and on the concrete cases of our prospects and clients. The permanent strategic objective is to offer original, effective solutions compatible with our values — those of a sustainable chemistry!
