When it was founded over 20 years ago, ARCANE Industries was a development laboratory for products to replace chlorinated solvents, which were ubiquitous in the industry in the 1990s. Patents were filed to protect original formulations: particularly around eco-responsible water-dilutable solvents and around emulsions and micro-emulsions of natural products. Agreements signed with industrial manufacturers and distributors enabled the rapid growth of production activities. Nevertheless, the company's DNA remains research and development. Numerous R&D projects have led to new developments with major industrial groups, particularly in safe and sustainable solvents and water-based temporary protective coatings. The two laboratories (surface preparation and coating) work daily on both medium- and long-term development projects and on practical use cases for our prospects and clients. The permanent and strategic goal is to offer original, effective solutions aligned with our values: those of sustainable chemistry!
