ARCANE Industries was, at its founding more than 20 years ago, a laboratory for developing chlorinated solvent substitution products that were ubiquitous in industry during the 1990s. Patents were filed to protect original formulations: notably around eco-responsible solvents water-dilutable and around emulsions and micro-emulsions of natural products.

Agreements with industrial partners and distributors enabled rapid growth in production activity. Nevertheless, the company's DNA remains research and development. Numerous R&D projects have led to new developments with major industrial groups in safe and responsible solvents and in temporary waterborne protective coatings in particular.

The two laboratories (surface preparation and coating) work daily on both medium and long-term development topics as well as on the specific challenges of our prospects and clients. The permanent and strategic objective is to offer original, effective solutions compatible with our values — those of sustainable chemistry!
