When it was founded over 20 years ago, ARCANE Industries was a development laboratory focused on substitutes for chlorinated solvents, which were ubiquitous throughout industry in the 1990s. Patents were filed to protect proprietary formulations, notably covering water-dilutable eco-responsible solvents and natural product emulsions and micro-emulsions.

Agreements established with manufacturers and distributors enabled rapid growth of production activities. However, R&D remains the company's core DNA. Numerous R&D projects have led to new developments alongside major industrial groups, particularly in safe, responsible solvents and waterborne temporary protective coatings.

The two laboratories (surface preparation and coatings) work daily on medium- and long-term development projects, as well as on concrete cases for our prospects and clients. The ongoing, strategic goal is to provide innovative, effective solutions aligned with our values: sustainable chemistry!
